How to remove vocals from an uploaded song
1
Upload your audio
Choose an MP3, WAV, M4A, or similar file from your phone or computer. No YouTube URL.
2
Pick vocals or instrumental
Keep the singer (vocals only) or remove the voice for karaoke / instrumental.
3
Download both MP3s
Wait while AI splits the track. Then save vocals, instrumental, or both.
What is the upload vocal remover?
This tool splits an audio file you upload into vocals and instrumental using the same AI (Demucs) as our YouTube vocal remover. Use it when you already have an MP3 — studio tracks, rips, or recordings — instead of pasting a YouTube link.
What you can do
Vocals only
Isolate the singer and download an acapella-style MP3.
Instrumental / karaoke
Remove the main vocal and keep the music for practice or covers.
Your own files
Works from an upload, not a YouTube URL. Use the YouTube vocal remover if you only have a link.
Both files in one split
One job creates vocals and instrumental. Save one or both.
Why upload instead of YouTube?
Use audio you already have — no need to find a YouTube link
Same AI split as the YouTube vocal remover
Download vocals, instrumental, or both as 320 kbps MP3
Free, no account, files deleted after processing
Quality and limits
Separation quality depends on the mix. Dense live or electronic tracks may leave traces. Tracks up to 8 minutes and 50 MB. For YouTube links, use the YouTube Vocal Remover in the menu instead.
Upload vocal remover FAQ
Is this different from the YouTube vocal remover?
Yes. The YouTube tool pastes a link. This page uploads a file from your device.
Which file types can I upload?
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, WEBM, FLAC, AAC, and OPUS, up to 50 MB.
Can I get both vocals and instrumental?
Yes. One split creates both MP3s. Save either or both.
How long can the song be?
About 8 minutes. Longer files should be trimmed first with the MP3 cutter.
Why does it take a few minutes?
AI stem splitting is heavier than a normal convert. Keep the tab open until it finishes.
Is it free?
Yes. No account or subscription.
Will the instrumental be completely voice-free?
It depends on the mix. Many studio tracks split cleanly; live or dense mixes may keep some vocal traces.
I only have a YouTube link. What should I use?
Use YouTube Vocal Remover in the YouTube menu. This page is for uploaded files only.
